Islantilla Golf was inaugurated in 1992 and since then it has become one of the best and most well-known Spanish golf courses in Europe.
In 1995 it was the venue for the Turespaña Masters as well as various Challenge Tour tournaments, including the APG of Spain. This has given a great status and reputation to Islantilla, which in the year 2000 was placed among the top 100 golf courses in Europe by the prestigious magazine Golf Digest.
There are 27 holes on three different courses that are surrounded by leafy vegetation and impressive sea-views. The careful design of its Pencross greens and Agrostis Fairways give the course great quality and variety. The smooth slopes, the water, its landscape, its climate, turn golf into a real pleasure for all type of players and handicaps.
El Rompido Golf Club opened mid 2003 to fantastic reviews throughout Europe. The original El Rompido South Course is a challenging and beautiful course, and with the recent addition of the fabulous El Rompido North Course the reputation of this superb facility can only grow. Isla Canela golf course has been carefully integrated with surrounding coastal features; winding through an area of tidal salt marsh, you will find the course not only an enjoyable golfing challenge, but also an interesting walk. It is a challenging course with small slopes formed from natural dunes and water features on ten of the holes.

This spectacular 18 hole golf course is in the Ria Formosa Natural Park and spreads along an gently undulating piece of prime golfing land down to the Ria Formosa itself and with a stunning view of the sea. It is a par 72, comprising two loops of 9 holes with each loop having 2 par 5's, five par 4's and two par 3's. The total length is 6016 metres. Five lakes were strategically built around the course, near greens 5, 10 and 14. Hole 16, a par 5, is played between the two biggest lakes. The green of the par 3 17th also brings one the lakes into play and also has an island where local bird-life nests.
Eighteen holes skilfully scattered by an area of 620.000 m2, the Cima Course show themselves very competitive with dog-legs to the right and to the left and greens well protected by sand hazards and lakes, particularly holes 16, 17 and 18. A stream with dams and permanent flowing water crosses holes 4, 5, 6 and 13. The course is bordered to the north by the National Road 125 and spreads to the south, where its limits are a municipal road that leads to the Ria Course.
